Humans are made for community, we need it to flourish. Southern Cross Church is passionate about connecting people in real ways where there is freedom to explore, as well as develop, faith. One way we do this is in “small groups”. Small groups are weekly or fortnightly gatherings of smaller groups of people from church. These are places where it’s ok to ask questions, where it’s ok to not be ok, where community is shared at deep levels beyond what we can achieve on a Sunday morning.
What should I expect to happen in a small group?
Groups will have different patterns but all will be intentional about making you feel welcome and allowing you to get to know others in the group. Usually time is spent discussing faith in Jesus, asking questions, discussing the Bible, and sharing thoughts and feelings about faith and life.
If you’re interested in joining a small group, talk to someone at church, or email us via info@sc.org.au.
